Could you tell me, please, the engine color référence for MGC. Is this the same color as Austin Healey ? Thank you.

It's not quite a true Healey green. A little more silver to it, in my opinion. DEFINITELY no the dark Healey or Austin green founr on some Sprites and Coopers.
Hirsch paints on the American east coast make a pretty good colour, in my opinion.

Michel, there seams to be a varity of thought on wich color is correct. I have seen many that are a blue green close to the Healy, mine is more a silver green and very close to the original color that was on the engine in my 69 car. The paint code I used is late 1960's Chrysler, factory code F3.

While restoring our 69C I used the spray can engine paint sold by Little British Car Co (Moss distributor...and an excellent supplier). As a match it was quite close to the original paint if not just a tiny bit lighter and provided an excellent finish.
To quote Ken Smith however....the correct colour is "whatever came out of the can the day it was built.....!!!!!"

John H, Wisconsin Drew, the color in the picture is very close to what I have. I had it mixed as a urathane.
