Parc à thème MG à Abingdon (UK)

Le conseil municipal d'Abingdon espère financer le projet d'un parc à thème dédié à la marque MG . Ce projet a été lancé sous l'impulsion du Club MG d'Abington : une portion de terrain situé près de la vieille usine MG pourrait devenir un petit parc ouvert au public. Voilà une bonne nouvelle...

MG theme park possible in Abingdon
A PIECE of land next to the old MG factory in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, could become an MG-themed mini-park.

The council's Abingdon in Bloom committee hopes to get financial support for the project from the Abingdon-based MG Car Club, the Vale of White horse District Council and the town council's Joint Environmental Trust.

The idea is in its infancy and no firm plans have been drawn up but local councillor, Lesley Legge, says the land was an eyesore. "It's close to the old MG factory and I would like to see something in the town that shows our connection with MG. It would be a place for many visiting MG owners and enthusiasts who have nowhere to go."

Ca pourrait être sympa. C'est quand même rassurant de voir aussi les Chinois afficher du moins leur compréhension de l'héritage de la marque.
