I have carefully owned my MG since 1982, it has been fully restored in 1995 incl. uprated suspension and a new Oselli stage III performance engine, its all in very good shape.
There is a slight problem though: as the engine is not original (it is a highly tuned 136 hp/2l engine with Weber carbs, free flow exhaust etc) I cannot sell it without re-installing the original engine (which I have in my garage), because in the french sales document I have to declare that the engine was not modified. This I can't without changing engines, and I just don't have the time to re-install the original engine.
My MG has always passed the CT without a problem, with the performance engine installed.
Do you know of anyone interested ? Maybe someone who races MGs and can use the car or engine for that porpose etc. .
I'm ready to compromise on price if I find a good home for this car.
