Dans le calendrier 2014 des sorties du Club, plus attrayantes les unes que les autres, je cherchais celle qui pourrait convenir le mieux à ma Midget, friande de petites routes sinueuses.

Le Jersey Weekender du 1er au 5 Mai, organisé cette année par un club anglais, répondait aux critères : quoi de mieux qu’une MG sur des routes anglaises (où les panneaux sont écrits en français).

2014 – Première participation du MG Club de France au salon de La Rochelle

Pour la première fois cette année, le MGCF était représenté au salon Auto Collection de La Rochelle au mois d’Avril.

Jacques Gaubert et moi-même avons disposés quatre autos sur un thème de vacances à la mer.

Elles ont été très admirées, surtout la TF 1500 de monsieur Dufour et la MGA de monsieur Lassaux. (Qu’ils soient remerciés tous les deux du prêt de leurs autos).

C’est sous un ciel bien nuageux pour un 11 mai que nous nous sommes retrouvés pour notre deuxième rendez-vous du dimanche matin à Vélizy avec 14 équipages en MGA, MGB et BGT, TF, MGB V8, dont 2 nouveaux adhérents du 75 et du 92.
